Kintala was originally set up in 2010, covering Glasgow, Clydebank and surrounds, and are unique inasmuch as the focus is placed equally on people and dogs. For me it is important the harmony and balance between human and animal is optimised via attending to the needs of the mind, body and spirit.
In April 2016 I opened my doggy day care facility. The principle of this day care is specialised doggy day care whereby the maximum number of dogs I will take in on any day is 8. This allows me to get to know each dog and their personalities and provide ‘family style’ care and support for them.
My Name is Michelle and I am a life-long dog and pet owner. I am qualified in Canine First Aid and have also attained a (Merit pass) Certificate in ‘Holistic Health’ for Dogs via British College for Canine Studies (BCCS). In addition, I am qualified in Reiki, Hopi Ear Candling and Indian Head Massage Practitioner.
My Husband Den, also a life-long dog and pet owner is a fully qualified ‘British College of Canine Studies (BCCS)’ (Advanced Canine Behaviour (Level 4)) Dog Behaviourist.
We are passionate about what we do and our aim is simple – to provide a service where the care and wellbeing of both human and dog is delivered within a stimulating (often multi sense) environment. We understand that every dog is unique and therefore we don’t apply once-size-fits-all methodologies and actively tailor our care and advice around the needs of the individual. More information can be found on our dog dedicated website Kintala Canine.
If you would like to find out more then please do not hesitate to drop myself an email (Kintala) or telephone 0141 952 2990.
